Hi {{First name | there}},
Please see below for highlights on the deal:
Ardian is France-based private markets manager active across private equity, real assets, and credit with $192 billion in AUM
Wafra is making the investment through its Established Manager program — a move its CIO hinted at in his GPSN interview earlier this fall (see here for the interview)
Wafra is acquiring the interest following the exit of a European family office that needed liquidity
Prior to this deal, Ardian’s ownership structure consisted of: the Ardian team (including the founder) with 40%, Crédit Mutuel with 15–17%, Hermès at 11.91%, and AXA holding under 10%
