Paris, 9 October 2026 - Armen, a European pioneer in GP Stakes, today announces the completion of a strategic investment in the Freshstream group, a European private equity firm managing approximately €2 billion in assets, with offices in London, Paris and Amsterdam. Through this minority investment, Armen will support Freshstream in the next stage of development of its European platform.
Freshstream partners with entrepreneurs across Western Europe, with a particular focus on the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Ireland. Its team comprises 29 professionals, including 7 Partners, based across offices in London, Paris and Amsterdam.
Since its creation, Freshstream has developed a platform built around a differentiated investment strategy, characterised in particular by a strong focus on seeking to achieve private equity returns with lower volatility through bespoke equity structures. The firm has also demonstrated its fundraising capabilities, with its 2021-vintage fund raised above its initial target.
The partnership with Armen is intended to support Freshstream’s continued development and further strengthen the firm’s long-term alignment with its fund investors, in particular by supporting its capacity to invest alongside them in its future funds. It will also enable Freshstream to benefit from Armen’s experience in the development and structuring of European alternative asset management firms.
Following RGreen Invest, Jolt Capital, Chorus Capital, Signal Capital and Vendis Capital, Freshstream becomes the sixth investment of Armen GP Stakes Fund I. Armen continues to build a diversified portfolio of European alternative asset management firms across different investment strategies. This new transaction further strengthens this platform in the private equity segment and adds to Armen’s portfolio exposure to a pan-European team with a significant presence across several major European markets.
