Bios on our speakers
Hugh MacArthur is a senior partner and chairman of Bain’s Global Private Equity Practice. He helped found the practice over 30 years ago, and works with private equity funds and alternative asset managers of all descriptions, including LPs. Hugh has advised funds in every geography, and has worked on hundreds of assignments across deals, firm strategy, operations and organization.
Ross Sarraf is a Managing Director on the Investment Team at Hunter Point Capital and serves as Co-Head of GP Stakes. Prior to joining HPC, Ross served as a corporate associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions and gained extensive experience leading GP stakes transactions.
Todd Owens is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cantilever Group, with 30+ years of experience as an advisor covering financial institutions and as a senior financial services executive. Todd previously led Fifth Street Finance and Fifth Street Senior Floating, has been a Partner at Broadhaven Capital Partners, and spent 24 years at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director and Partner.
Erik Serrano Berntsen is the Founder and CEO of Stable, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy. Stable is a long-tenured global GP stake builder with ~$5B in assets, having helped build more than 40 firms since 2006 through strategic seed and acceleration investments across public and private markets.
Ross Zachary is Navigator’s Chief Investment Officer and Head of NGI Strategic Investments, overseeing the sourcing, execution, and management of strategic investments and acquisitions. Ross has extensive experience in alternative investments, including strategic M&A and partnering with both newly launched and established managers on strategic initiatives and key business functions.
