Hi {{First name | there}},
We’re pleased to announce the speakers for our keynote fireside, The C-Suite Perspective:
Moderator:
Michael Piazza, Partner, Co-Chair of Private Equity, Co-Chair of GP Solutions at Gibson Dunn
Keynote Speaker:
Adam Weinstein, President and Chief Operating Officer at New Mountain Capital
This keynote is especially exciting because we will hear firsthand from one of the key individuals involved in New Mountain Capital’s GP Stake sale process in 2018. Few conversations offer this kind of direct perspective on such a significant transaction from someone who was deeply involved. For GPs, this closed-door discussion offers a rare opportunity to hear how a major firm approached a landmark decision at a pivotal moment in the development of the GP Stakes asset class.
What makes this discussion even more valuable is the benefit of time. Nearly a decade has passed since the stake sale, which gives Adam a uniquely well-informed vantage point on how the transaction has played out over the long term. While insights from a recently completed stake sale can be useful, the longer-term implications of such a transaction are often not yet fully visible. Adam’s perspective, informed by years of experience since the deal, offers a clearer view of how the partnership has developed in practice and provides particularly valuable context for any GP considering a stake sale today.
